Lesson Narrative
The purpose of this lesson is to strengthen students’ numeracy needed to find a growth factor for an exponential relationship, as well as their ability to interpret the meaning of points in a graph that represents a context. When students explain how a graph or expression representing a model relates to the situation it represents, they are contextualizing the representation (MP2).
